Within Chiropractic - Best Colleyville Chiropractor for Relief and Spinal Decompression

Within Chiropractic in Colleyville, TX helps active adults find lasting relief from back pain, disc issues, and sciatica through chiropractic care and spinal decompression.

Why Colleyville Patients Choose Within Chiropractic

Most people who come to us have already tried something else. They’ve rested, stretched, taken the medication, maybe seen another provider. The pain keeps coming back because the root cause was never properly identified.

Before any treatment begins, Dr. Zach Thompson runs a thorough exam including digital X-ray, heart rate variability testing, and a full posture analysis. You leave your first visit knowing exactly what is going on and what we’re going to do about it.

Meet Dr. Zach Thompson, DC

Dr. Zach Thompson knows firsthand what it’s like to be in pain with no clear answers. During his first year of college, a weightlifting injury left him with severe back pain that multiple providers couldn’t resolve. A single chiropractor changed that, restoring his mobility within two weeks and setting him on the path to chiropractic school.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Salisbury University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University. Today he brings that background, and that personal experience, to every patient he sees in Colleyville Tx.

Ready to Find Out What's Actually Causing Your Pain?

Most patients leave their first visit with something they didn’t have before: a clear picture of what’s wrong and a specific plan to fix it. Dr. Thompson is ready when you are.

Spinal decompression directly reduces the disc pressure causing nerve compression, giving the disc a real environment to heal in.

Poor posture, old injuries, and accumulated tension all feed into chronic neck pain. Digital posture analysis helps pinpoint what’s driving it.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first visit runs 30 to 45 minutes and covers everything needed to give you a real answer. Dr. Thompson starts with an in-depth consultation and office tour, then moves into heart rate variability testing, orthopedic and range-of-motion exams, digital X-rays, and a digital posture analysis. Assuming no red flags, most patients receive a relief adjustment that same day.
Day two is when Dr. Thompson walks you through your full report of findings and customized care plan. After that, regular visits run 5 to 10 minutes.

Our family has been going to Dr. Zach for years now and we have seen the difference it’s made in sports recovery as well as everyday tasks. I was recently endured whiplash from a car wreck. Dr. Zach was able to address it immediately and within two weeks the headaches stopped and within three months x-rays and other readings showed full recovery. From addressing posture, to sports performance, to injury, we highly recommend Dr. Zach and his team!

I am one of those people that just keeps moving forward even through pain. But I am so very glad Within Chiropractic and their cute video showed up in my Facebook feed! I saw them in the office two days later. The amount of time and care they invest in the patient is what really drew me in. They are so knowledgeable and engaging in educating me on this process of healing and balance. I am almost halfway through my first journey with them, and already feel more centered than I ever have. My sleep has improved greatly, and my daily fatigue is almost nonexistent. The whole crew really make you feel like a part of the family. This has been the best self-care decision I have ever made! They are truly superstars at their craft!!

Let me start by saying this: I couldn’t walk. My back and hip pain were at an immeasurable level. I suffer from PCOS and endometriosis, and over the years I had been conditioned to believe that my period pain was just “normal.” When I tell you I can walk now, I truly mean it. This past Sunday alone, I clocked over 8,400 steps in one day, with 6,600 of those steps in just one hour. I was careful not to overwork myself—and still felt amazing afterward. Before starting care, my daily average for each month last year was under 2,000 steps, and that’s just one year. It’s been years since I’ve felt active enough to even want to help myself. For years, I had been depressed—barely moving my body, constantly stressed, and struggling in ways I didn’t fully recognize. I am a single mom and was also a caregiver to my grandparents for over 10 years, who are no longer with us. I spent so long living in survival mode that I never gave myself permission to truly care for myself. My consultation was on 12/12, and my first corrective visit was on 12/15. I’ve been coming twice a week since (with two weeks off for the holidays), so I’m only on my 8th visit. By my 4th visit, the emotional release was overwhelming—and absolutely necessary. I couldn’t stop crying. It felt like years of pain, tension, and suffering were finally leaving my body. Dr. Zach helped me understand what was really going on in my body. He clearly explained my points of care and just how desperately my nervous system needed support. He took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense and helped create a care plan that wasn’t just about pain relief—it was about improving my life. Dr. Jon deserves special recognition. His adjustments are intentional, gentle, and incredibly precise. He listens to my body, explains what he’s doing, and makes sure I feel safe and supported throughout each adjustment. I never feel rushed or overlooked—only deeply cared for. His approach has made a profound difference not only in my physical pain, but in my ability to trust my body again. Through their guidance, I’ve been able to focus on healing in a way that allows me to show up as a better version of myself—and most importantly, a better mom. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with grace and compassion, starting with the warm welcome from Kaylee. Thank you all for being such an incredible team and for supporting me on this healing journey. You have helped me in ways I truly can’t put into words. The amount of energy I have now is more than I ever imagined possible. I finally feel like I’m coming back to life. This has been truly life-changing—and I’m only on my 8th visit.

Piriformis Syndrome: The Sciatica Look-Alike Most People Miss

Piriformis syndrome happens when the piriformis muscle deep in the buttock tightens or spasms and compresses the sciatic nerve running beneath it. It produces pain that feels almost identical to disc-related sciatica, but the source is muscular, not spinal, which means the treatment is different too. For patients in Colleyville

How to Prevent Neck Pain While Working at a Desk

Preventing desk-related neck pain comes down to reducing how far your head drifts forward, taking regular movement breaks, and setting up your workspace so good posture is the easy default rather than something you have to constantly think about. Signs It’s Time to Visit a Chiropractor

If pain has lasted more than a couple of weeks, keeps coming back, limits your daily movement, or started after an accident or injury, it’s time to see a chiropractor. Waiting it out often lets compensation patterns build up, making the eventual fix take longer than it would have otherwise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Within Chiropractic is in-network with BCBS of Texas. For patients outside that coverage, we offer cash pricing, monthly payment plans, and third-party financing through Affirm.

Do I need to see my primary care doctor before coming in?

No referral is needed. You can book directly with Dr. Thompson and we’ll take it from there.

How long will I need care?

That depends on what we find at your exam. After your report of findings on day two, Dr. Thompson will walk you through a specific care plan with a clear timeline based on your condition and goals.

Does the adjustment hurt?

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the adjustment is. Some experience mild soreness afterward, similar to a good workout, but that typically fades quickly. Dr. Thompson will always explain what he’s doing and why before any treatment begins.

Can you help with things like anxiety, insomnia, or autoimmune conditions?

Chiropractic care supports the nervous system, and some patients do report improvements in sleep and overall wellness as their care progresses. That said, Dr. Thompson focuses on the musculoskeletal and neurological root causes of pain. For complex systemic conditions, we’re happy to work alongside your other providers.
